2022 KW T680 X15 Engine fan is on all the time?
Is this normal?
It only has 58,000 miles on it and it is equipped with the eaton12 speed automatic.
I asked when my company gave it to me if they had had it checked and manager said yes and that Kenworth said it was normal! LoL
Any help is appreciated!

No, not normal. Is the green fan light on, on the dash? Is there a switch flipped somewhere making it be on all the time? Probably on the left side of the steering column.
-
No green light.
Whit the switch on or off the fan sounds the same!
It is like driving a helicopter over the sand desert 10 ft off the ground! -
Yeah, when they come on it normally kicks dust up quite a bit. I have multiple trucks of that general spec and none of them do that. When it does kick on you see a green light. (And hear it!)
What kind of fuel mileage are you getting? Can’t be good with the fan running all the time. -
Green light on bit on, bit no charge in sound! Still sounds like a helicopter! LoL

I was having the same problem and I just got a pm done, they told me one of my cabin filters was clogged and one was missing. So they replaced those and do the pm now the light and fan has gone off. So guys this air filters is your problem!!!!
Lyle H Thanks this. -
There are two switches(sensors) that turn the fan on by activating the fan air solenoid. The a/c fan switch or the engine temperature sensor. Check the solenoid and all connection and air hose going to the fan clutch.

This part should be just above your steering rack.
