I’ve got a new anthem and just started doing glass work and they require your bags to be dumped while loading, but if I flip the switch to dump and cut the truck off, the airbags re-inflate. Yes I’m leaving the switch in the dump position when I turn it off. I’ve even tried cutting the main power but they still go back up. Anyone know if this is how it was intended or if there is a workaround? I just hate leaving my key on for god knows how many hours while loading

Its most likely a default setting in the trucks cassis computer. I would ask a mack or volvo dealer if that feature can be switched. Other then that you’ll just have to leave the key on.

Probably a electric over air solenoid
Cut the power the winding is denergized
And thus allows the air to flow thru the valve.Roberts450 Thanks this. -
Can you turn the key to ACC and see if the solenoid stays energized that way?
-
ACC still makes it go up. It’s got to either be started or just to on
Hammer166 Thanks this.
