    Good morning everyone!

I have a 2017 Volvo VNL 780 with a very odd problem. The truck sat for a month or so while we were waiting for the camshaft to show up. (later model 2017 with the fake CR engine, spun a lobe)

The truck's interior lights are not turning on, they are flashing on-off instead. Dash works fine. 12V outlets are not working, none of them including the ones in the bunk. The fridge is not getting power either.

We checked all the fuses and the relays. Swapped relays, still nothing.

What are your thoughts? @nasriza , maybe you have an idea on this?

    Thank you all!

check power save module, need to remove bottom panel on dash, on top of engine cover, there will be the abs module and power saver is right under it, either mechanic did not plug in small yellow plug or forgot to plug in two battery supply connections, or it needs a reset since it was sitting for a while depends how they changed the cam and if they took out the engine cover from the cab.

Hey Nas! That’s exactly what we are doing this Sunday when they come back. Pretty sure the low voltage disconnect is the issue. Either not plugged in or missing the connection.

By now, the LVD would reset itself since it saw enough voltage from the battery.

Thank you for the feedback brother. As always!

I have the same problem in my 2021 Volvo vnl 860 the interior lights they go on and off also the 12 voltage outlets and both power windows switches and the radio so I guess it will be the same problem? And power save module is located at same place in 2021 Volvo vnl 860?

Battery voltage is dropping too low.

It's a safety feature to reserve enough power to start the engine.

Weak or worn out batteries are the cause 99% of the time

Okay you might have a dead cell.

I've had several Interstate battery sets that didn't last a year before failure.

    Hopefully they've improved since then.

On your rear sleeper panel you can turn the LVD low voltage disconnect off and test plus test the voltage on batteries anything below 12.5 is bad 12.2 is considered dead.

Fully charged after the initial surface charge drops off (30+ minutes after key off) should be 12.6-12.8

All grounds are ok does not happen when I hit the putt holes will happen once in a while. It will stop for two days sometimes week and will start again.
