    Hello, Fellas
Got White 2016 Volvo that has air system problem.
I heard these truck (white 2016 Volvos) have this problem.

    The problem:
Its governor is attached to Air Driver and it is cutting off (or purging) every 30 seconds to 1 minute. When it is snowing and temperatures are more or less freezing, it stops purging and air compressor pumps constantly so much so that my safety valve on air tanks start releasing air.

    What I did:
I threw 10K into that problem. Changed basically whole air system:
    - the whole air dryer assembly 3 times
    - fan clutch
    - air compressor
    - sensors and fittings on various places
    - harness that connects to whatever computer it connects (not cheap)

Been to 3 different mechanics (one of them is official Volvo Dealer). They just don't seem get what the problem is.

What I can tell for sure is it does this problem when it is snowing (when it is wet and freezing temperature) consistently.

At this point I'm almost done with that sucker (just barely holding myself from putting gasoline and burning it for good).

    Any suggestions.

I just wanna say that the fact that your truck is white is irrelevant.

I'm guessing you have a Wabco/Meritor air dryer and compressor? If so, is there water/condensation in your air cans? Had this problem with the Mack I drive and turned out to be the unloader valve in the compressor. Fixed the issue, but when it got down to freezing temps I had to make sure I kept draining the air cans every day, because if any moisture got in the system at all it would start it all over again. If your air dryer is a Wabco, I'd strongly suggest trying to plumb up a Bendix dryer to your system instead. The trucks I drove with Bendix on them always had bone dry air cans.a

Among the list of things you replaced, I didn't see an air governor listed. Did you replace that as well?

    Forever237 and Siinman Thank this.

I assume you changed the air governor?
