Does anyone have good or bad experiences with these trucks? One I am looking at has 400,000 miles on it with a Eaton 10 speed. Just kicking tires right now on it before I go get it looked at.

I have been told some expensive stories about a rebuild on these motors.

400,000 miles coming into problems is why many trying to sell, just look at the number of them being on the market.

Yes most trucks are that way used. This one still has remaining factory warranty.

I ended up getting a 2014 Volvo 670. Had more miles then I wanted but came with APU and they replaced a bunch of items for me before I bought it. The Kenworth had way to many Idel hours on it. So far Volvo has been running strong. Replaced Steer tires and just got new LED Head Lights.

So many mixed reviews on Paccars Here I am looking into a 2015 Kenworth with a Paccar engine sitting at 468,497 For 49k And here I thought I’ll cehck maintenance records etc if it’s well maintained golden but it seems even from 25k miles these are. Ehhhhh lol. I’ve looked into Volvo as well only issue i seem to run across is electrical and a few other things. How do you feel about the Volvo? How many miles did you get it with? after treatment warranty? How’s the def system? Don’t mean to bombard you with questions lol but I do lol

I got it with just a little over 540000 on it. Have put a little over 25k on it so far. Not enough to really tell. But when I got it I had them replace the turbo and a few other items. Maintenance history shows no issues with it. It had the best history I seen on all the trucks I looked at. They had end of year deal trying to get rid of everything so I got it at a great price to. They fixed about 9K worth of stuff on it. I did not buy any warranty as most of them look like rip offs. Other then the size of the bunk area I love the truck. I wanted a 780 and settled for a 670 because of the maintenance history I felt like it was the best deal I could find. So far no issues with DEF system or any other problems. I did upgrade the head lights to LED because stock just suck.
