I'm just curious if this is common or if I should have our garage adjust my dims. Back in late may, my company, hoekstra, gave me a new 2014 386 Fantastic truck! Lots of chrome, drives great, and already have out 38k miles on her! The strange thing, tho, is probably 10 drivers a night flash me thinking my brights are on when they really aren't. Is this common on the 386? Or should I mention it to my garage? Thanks!

Say something to your shop. More than likely they're just angled up a little too much. Or... if you won't be in the shop for awhile you could try and fix it yourself, there should be small adjustment screws on the headlight assembely. One for left/right, one for up/down. I'm not familiar with this model though, just going off what I know from experience. That's how its set up on most trucks.

I had the same problem. Even got pulled over by an indiana state trooper for having my high beams on. When I showed him my high beams he couldn't believe it. I did find an adjustment tool and fixed it myself since our shop kept saying they were properly adjusted.
Mine was a 2013 cascadia though.. I'm sure you will find an adjustment screw to fix it.

Remove the plate that has the rear facing flasher in it on the back of the headlight assembly, you will find the adjustment in there, I have seen the plastic ball where the pivot point mounts on these pop out and cause the lights to point up, just a matter of levering it back into its socket if this is the case.

I've had the same problem with 3 different 386s. The first one even had very yellowed lenses. I find the problem is with the angle of the lens, the light from the bulb reflects off the bottom edges of the inner housing and up into on coming traffics eyes. The adjustment screw is at the back of the lens by the wheel well and only adjusts up and down. I tried running the truck with just the day time running lights on but people still think they're your high beams... Until you blast them with your low then high!!!

If your light beam's upper edge is higher than dock height or car side view mirrors crank that sheite down unless you use the truck for lighting up a treed coon.
