2013 Freightliner Cascadia eec 61 spn 435 3

EEC 61 is the Aftertreatment Control Module. So it’s an emissions fault, but I can’t find spn 435 fmi 3

 

SPN 4353 is DEF doser diffuser heater fault. Your truck should give a FAIL or FMI number

3 is failed high
4 is failed low
5 is open circuit

There shouldn’t be anybengine reaction with this code for some time. But it eventually will. I would look around the black metal cover on the back side of your exhaust “one box” you’ll hopefully find a bare or green wire there. I think the diffuser is the plug in farthest from the frame.

 

Also the ACM ( aftertreatment control module)is mounted on the drivers side fender battery box side , if your in salt country check that harness. I noticed on some trucks the sharp bends with the zip tyes can really work over that harness. The module will have 2 plugs one big one little.

Ive fixed alot of aftertrearment problems at run up to the top of farme.

 

I don't know which idiot decided to put ACM there.. I would shoot that men without regret... one bullet straight into brain
