I'm looking at purchasing a 2012 international prostar +eagle with MF13 motor. 454,000 miles for $29,000.
I also plan on purchasing it with an 2 year extended warranty with a company call "national truck protection"
Driving it over the road any advice before making this purchase?

there is a reason its so cheap, google it and you will seeD32 Thanks this. -
I am sitting on the side of the road for the 3rd time THIS WEEK and my truck only has 350,000 miles one it. The previous MF powered Prostars couldn't pass a dealership without having something fixed.
I would avoid any International trucks regardless of which engine is under the hood. Remember, warranties don't pay your bills when the truck is sitting there waiting on it's turn at the dealer.D32 Thanks this. -

I've also been hearing some bad stuff about National Truck Protection . I have their engine only plan and it cost $5600. I have not needed it . Yet.D32 Thanks this. -
I found two 2009 freightliner Cascadia's both with 750k miles
They are automatics the guy said 60k takes both. I had a shop check one out he found about 6,000 in issues that includes rear tires and they have Detroit 60 in both. Shop tells me to stay away from them. Should I just go purchase an older truck without egr and dep. I don't drive but want my driver in s comfortable solid truckAttached Files:

Ntp warranty is worthless. That goes for any 3rd party warrantee provider, on any type of merchandise. From a hundred million dollar crane to a fifty dollar radio.
double yellow and D32 Thank this. -
D32 Thanks this.
