A detriot does well, who cares if it's 34000 empty or 80K loaded upgrade? It will do at or close to the speed limit. My avatar has a 500 detriot in that FLD and from time to time Ive managed to get 1600 plus miles out of it due to certain limitations on fueling when states pile up too much fuel now and then in a fleet.
Im partial to the rockwells. Althought Mack does a good job when it comes to winter weather and ice. -
Full emissions engine.
Running at 80 000lbs or less those big blocks(15L) do not get a proper work out resulting in DPF issues.(Not enough heat in the system)
That is why i would advice a 13L. -
I have a 13 Cascadia with 450 isx smart torque , 10 speed .
I run Midwest and out to LA with it .
Good power and no problems with it so far pulling a reefer with 30k to 44k payload .
Ecm fuel mileage stays between 6.5 and 7.2 .
I happy with the truck .x1Heavy and bigcummins Thank this.
