Had a new BCM put in to fix the gauges turning all the way to the 6 o’clock position, fan clutch turning off and on and dome lighting issues. Now dome lights automatically turn on when starting the truck and won’t turn back off (unless manually done) when truck is turned off. Fan clutch periodically turns on and off, and the air pressure gauges turn to the 6 o’clock position. Basically the same issues it had before the new BCM except now only the air pressure gauges are the ones that turn all the way. Any idea what can be causing this?

Your next step is have someone with Diamond logic builder software check what codes are getting logged in the bcm. The way the fan over ride works, is the switch in the switch pack sends a digital request to the bcm, which sends another digital request to the engine. Wiring or switch pack issues in the cab will not cause erratic fan operation. You will get error codes. The bcm will command the fan on or off due to high ac pressures too. Bad wiring to the fan solenoid or a bad solenoid can also cause this. Usually faulty pressure sensor cause the pressure gauge issues. Dome light requests come from the cluster and send to the bcm by digital request. All these signals can be seen with Diamond logic builder for troubleshooting.
