The previous driver of my truck smoked. Luckily not heavy and the smell isn't to bad. I have cleaned all upholstery scrubbed every Sq inch of the interior. The smell is nearly gone except when I turn on the regular heat and the bunk heater. Is there a filter for both the bunk heat and regular heat? If there are filters on these items would peterbilt have them in stock? Where does the air come from? Where would I find the air intake for both heaters be located?
Thanks
2010 peterbilt 386 cabin air filter?

There's a fresh air filter on the passenger side forward of the door (inside where your right foot would be if you were sitting there) that slides out and can be cleaned or replaced. I can't remember if there's a separate one for the bunk heater or not. I have the truck here at home with me so I'm gonna take a look when I grab my junk out of it!

I have yet to find a filter for the sleeper....Peterbilt says they don't have them...Yet...
There's a "slot" in front of the evaporator on the bunk HVAC.....Hmmmm..... -
Yup, you're right, there's a slot for a filter but no filter.

Also just changing the filter may not help. The smoke odour will be attached to the a/c evaporator. There are sprays that you can buy that you spray into the venting that is suppose to neutralize odours in the evap and venting sysytem. Never used them so not sure if they work.

Crap this is old thread but I just got to add in.
I am driving a 2008 pete 386? Not sure how to tell. There does not appear to be a filter for the cab that I have seen. there is a filter under the bunk. How ever it is the cabin filter sold by pete with the two tabs on top. It does not fit properly and is almost useless as is. Would need modified to seal up.
If there is a cab filter I would like to know where. The panel at right foot passenger side only has some wires behind it.
