I am working for my dad's company. I do not know much about trucks so I am still learning :biggrin_25514:
My drivers are out for trip. But warm engine light is keep coming on. I wonder why.
As samething happened few month ago, we put the truck in a service and it was okay for a while.
I was reading few articles about it, however I still do not get what it is exactly.
Is it emergeny which has to be in service as soon as possible? or would it be fine if they drive few more days?
driver says RPMs not going up like it was before.

You probably have a Cummins ISX in it. The Warn engine light could be anything, but if the engine is not running normally you do not want to take the chance of running it like that for several days. With some codes the warning light can stay on for months, and not effect the operations, others may shut the engine down after only a few hours. This why it is important to at least know what the code is. Typically the warning lights are after treatment related. Probably something has been detected that may prevent the truck from performing a regen. If this goes on for too long, the DPF will become plugged and shut the truck down. I would get this looked at soon rather than later!
