Hi. I have an issue with my 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 6.7 Diesel. It works just fine with no load, but when i hook up my loaded trailer the temperature goes to hotter than normal. The more power engine has to use the hotter it goes, sometimes even to boiling temp. I have noticed that the fan wouldnt turn on when temp goes over the limit, but if it does the temp goes down. This truck is hauling about the same weight for nearly 2 years now and it was fine.

Any ideas what parts would need to be replaced?

Thermostat? Temp sensor that regulates the fan?

Emission equipment related? Still have the DPF? Is boost still the same? Sometimes something as simple as a clogged air filter... Heat Kills!
