Hello, there. I’ve been having this nightmare for quite a while and I really hope I’ll get another good point in here.

For the last 12 months I’ve been having issues constantly with my oil pressure gauge/buzzer. At the beginning, oil pressure will all of a sudden drop to 0, Stop engine light and buzzer would turn on for about 2 seconds then everything comes back to normal. And this happened every other day for the past 12 months. I’ve replaced the oil pressure sensor, it helped for about 2-3 months. Then it started acting weird again. But you could still drive it like this, about 1 month ago it dropped again but it wouldn’t come back to normal, it stayed at 0 with the buzzer and stop engine light on. Now i replaced the oil pressure sensor along with the oil sensor gauge, lookedup for any short circuit that it might be thecause. It helped for a couple of weeks. But as of right now, it dropped again to 0 and wouldn’t goup at all. Engine pressure is alright as far as Iknow from my mechanic. Truck drives absolutely normal. Any ideas you might have? Any help ismuch appreciated!

Run all new wiring from the sensor to the gauge. If that don’t cure, convert sensor and gauge to mechanical instead of electrical.
