Just got a used M2 that the dealer said was all spring suspension. There indeed is no switch in the cab for suspension, but I'm pretty sure I see two big ole air bags on the rear.

    lol, true.

went out there and took a picture today, and think I have a better understanding of what it is.

looks like that rod is attached to the diff of the axle, and when there is a heavy load that pushes the frame down, it actuates that valve to inflate the bags.

I don't see any manual control in the cab.

    That is the leveling valve.

would this be the same air suspension system that is normally controlled from the cab?

It can be controlled from the cab.
But looks like yours needs some extra parts installed before that can happen.

    ok, gotcha.

also... where is the muffler supposed to be on this thing, lol? someone cut it off I reckon.

looks like maybe it should go under the cab?

2007 was first year for DPF. Goes off engine year not chassis year. 2007 could go either way.

    daf105paccar and sivart88 Thank this.
