2005 kenworth w900 isx swap

    Hello everyone! If a kenworth truck comes factor with an isx and you decide to swap it with a cat 3406e, n14, or 60 series detroit. Would you be able plug and play with another kenworth cab to engine wiring harness? The kenworth that would be swapped is a 2005 w900. The donor truck would be in the range of 96-2000 cat, cummins, or detroit power.

    Doubt it'll be that simple. Will more than likely need an adapter harness to match the engine you're installing.

    That's on top of everything else involved in the swap.

    Nope its that easy . swap everything from one to the other . I put a 2005 cat from my sba western star into a 2013 sba western star

    If you have the donor truck you have everything you need . Except wiring connectors , zip ties , deutsch connector tool and i would buy the plastic tool for removing wires from a cat ecm if you go cat . What am i saying . You are going Cat right ? LOL im a little biased . I would highly recommend an MXS though . 2004 to 2006 i believe . 07 and up were polution engines . SDP . Mxs has no polution , stronger block , than 6nz . And i have yet to see any 6NZ show me anything . Im sure they are out there but ive never seen it
