    Hi
    I have a 2005 freightliner century class
I just brought 4 new battery 950 hook it up try to start the truck it wouldn't start just make a click noise 1 click noise so I check the battery voltage there fine check all fuses inside the truck and behind the drive seat fine too. I also noticed that there 3 more fuses on the battery cables 2 coming out from the positive and one from negative and the negative is the one that keep burning out every time. And befor this issue every time I use to turn on the truck my check engine light would turn on for a few seconds and it would turn off after truck crank and now the check engine light doesn't turn on helping plz

Are you sure you have the all the battery cables connected and to the right posts?

It seems like your ECM isn't getting power, that's why it won't start.

If it keeps blowing fuses, you have a short somewhere, check for broken, chaffed wiring.

Ive never seen a fuse on a wire going to a ground (negative post). I think you have that wire backwards. Try it on the + side, will just blow fuse again if wrong. I have an 07 Century and have 3 smaller wires with fuses in battery box and they all go to positive side.
