2005 379 air filter replacement

    What's the secret to changing the air filters on the 2005 and newer 379s?
    It looks like I will need to swing the mirrors out of the way to remove the filters. Or is there a way to get them out without dismantling everything? Going to tackle changing them next weekend, just wanted to know what I''m up against.

    just remove one mirror brace bolt and swing mirror arms out of the way. its not too bad of a job. but a stupid design having to swing mirrors out of the way.

    I suspected as much, but was hoping I was missing something. I agree, that's some real genius enginnering on that design. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
