Those were good motors, but what kinda shape is the truck in....?

Plan on dumping a few grand (if not more) when you start running it. And a rebuild on a cat is almost what the price of the truck is.

I'd count on a $20,000+ inframe sooner rather than later even though a buddy of mine had a classic freightliner with a 6NZ go all the way to 1.5 million without an overhaul when they sold it. Make for sure it is 6NZ and not some ignorant or slick salesman trying to push off an MBN as a "it's a great motor single turbo, rah, rah!! Kumbahyah!!". T800 is a good truck. They'd have to flex down on price a few thousands since it's 10sp and due inframe. Might be a good truck might be a heap.

Great truck, great motor, great deal or so it sounds but............You won't be able to run that truck in California at least legally thanks to CARB.
