Where is the fuse for the ABS or relay? I have a code SID 14 FMI 4 (SAE - Relay Diagonal 1 - Voltage below normal or shorted to low source) no power on the wire to ABS Box. I changed out a ABS sensor on the back wheel and now have this code. Light is on in the dash for tractor. I found a broke wire in the battery box that was fused and repaired that. Looking at the wiring it shows fuses but I have no idea where they may be.

The only connections for my 99 are the ABS box under bunk by the heater/AC.
And the fuse panel center of firewall inside cab.
When mine was going wiggy on me. Mechanic found several wires bad, corroded, between ABS box and fuse panel.
Fuses were good. Harness was compromised from previous tech sticking probe in the wire insulation allowing moisture in.
Good luck. Electric Gremlins are the worst.Smellfunny Thanks this. -
Those wires run from bunk to fuse panel, Under an aluminum channel running between shifter and passenger seat. You might have to remove carpeting, and inspect wiring. Maybe ones chafed. But the problem just popped up? I don’t know. Sounds strange. I’d try disconnecting batteries, and reconnect, don’t know if that will work, just an idea. Wire in battery box is probably for ecm. Truck ignition needs to be cycled on and off, and driven above 5 mph to clear codes

If there’s no power to box, how did you get the codes? ECM plugged in? Just curious, I’ve used the switch on box under bunk for codes, myself. Fixed a couple sensors, and a wire to rear valve, on mine using flash code diagnostics switch.

Thanks. The truck was running smooth but poor fuel mileage so maybe that fuse will get him up over 5 MPG. : )
I did notice while under the truck that he has carpeting around the shift tower.
Before I put the sensor in his light was on and he had a code for wheel sensor shorted on axle 2 and a code for tractor ABS light bulb low current. I replaced the sensor and that code is gone and the code for the ABS light bulb is gone as well (but still lit). Now this new code is in there and the light is on.

No idea. I found a wire schematic online for this box and I checked the plug that is supposed to have 12 volts and I had nothing. I tried a different box on there but nothing there as well. I will try and find that schematic again.

I have a computer to hook up to the truck. I might hook up my old one and see what it comes up with. Some times it works better on older trucks.

Hooked up old Prolink. Showed Active SID 14 FMI 4 Inactive SID 4 FMI 4
Also showed voltage to system as less than .5 volt. -
I found three wires that were rubbed into about a foot from the harness plug-in under the sleeper. I repaired those but still no power. I checked all of the connections on the harness and none had power.
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
