A vibration started a few weeks ago. I attributed it to an alignment issue and bad tires. It continued to get worse. I had the alignment done, 10 new tires. Vibration still there (starts about 50 MPH and continues, fairly bad). Checked ride heights. Down to 2 inches. Called Freightliner and they said the ride height should be 2 9/16ths. Adjusted and went for a ride. Vibration starts at 55, not as bad as it was and I can run out of it at 71 MPH). Why would the ride height change, and is 2 9/16ths high enough? I seen to be out of adjustment on the leveling valve rod. We checked for metal in the tranny and rears. Also checked to make sure the power divider was working. Any suggestions?

U-joints,Carrier bearing, kingpins, wheel bearings and or adjustment??If your leveling valve adjustment is way off it changes your driveshaft angle and may cause a vibration and usually will wipe out a u-joint and or carrier bearing in short order.Engine and or transmission mounts?Lots of things to check
