Is there a circuit number on the wire? On Petes it's usually a small metal tag wrapped around the wire at each end or, printed on the insulation.

I was hoping for the numbered wire, but this particular wire has nothing on it, no ink or metal tag. I could prob find it if I looked hard enough, just to find the time is the problem lol.

ABS just needs one hot wire, so it is just prewires for odd trailer options weather you need it or not. It could be used for any thing else that needs hot power on the trailer int he future. Its just like the blank switches on the dash some trucks have so you can add stuff.

7 wires, 6, 4, 2, 1, you can get many configurations when the standard 7 ain't enough.
I bought 100 ft. of 4/14 and a coiled 15 ft. for one of my winter projects on the never finished truck. I'm using the ISO yellow plugs. Dump valves, back up lights, strobe. I'll be able to do some stepping with both axles when I'm done.RubyEagle Thanks this. -

Europeans switched to 15 pin plugs now. There are rear light and rear fog lamps wires there, second 7 pin plug is for trailer EBS power supply and CAN. So I tow European trailer with my freightliner and I have 3 plugs.
