If it's a Eagle, it's good. What engine/tranny/ratio?
-
engine 3406-E, ratio: 3.73. and thats all the info I have until I go view it tomorrow.

people can say what they want about a caterpillar engine, i've had 6 of them; all cat's are expensive to maintain; i've been running cummins' & detroits for the past 4 yrs since i left cat engine alone, my maintenance has gone down tremendously, still have power, fuel economy, etc without all the maintenance on them

I know, when these things breakdown, THEY BREAKDOWN. But, reliable overall if you drive it like a pro instead of putting the pedal in to take off. Idled through the truckstops at 10mph, 2nd gear idle RPM's. I only ever put the pedal on this thing to grab speed and fuel for a hill under a heavy load.

Yeah that's how i drive my pete. I love my cat engines, but I've heard the WORST about internationals but that eagle caught my eye. But it was sold by the time i got there. I'm looking for a second truck while i let my old pete sit . It does the job but needs some repairs and TLC. well thanx for the info for next time!
