1999 Freightliner FLD - Buzzer and check engine light

    Hello,

    I have 1999 FLD Freightliner with cummins n14, when i drive, and when engline collent everything is ok the buzzer goes on and also shows check engine light.

    Please help, what can be wrong?

    check coolant level sensor and its wiring. check connector for corrosion

    before you sugest sensor be bad, separate connector and put car fuse in.... if no CEL any more - replace coolant level sesor. If the problem does not dissapeare - rewire...

    Coolant level sensor is bad. My 99 FLD had the same problem and in the 7yrs I owned it, I replaced it 6 times.... just a bad design.
