1987 Peterbilt 357 vin location on frame

    Hello all,

    I have a 1987 Peterbilt 357 and the vin plate in the cab is gone and the door sticker is ripped off right at the vin#
    Does anyone have any idea where it is located on the frame of these trucks I have been looking for hours and can't find it anywhere

    Back of the sleeper left side should be a plate with the Vin number

    On the newer trucks it is on the upper frame rail ledge just in front of the engine mount on the driver side. Passenger side is same location but on the bottom of the rail. It will only have the last 8 of the vin stamped in there. If you give me the last 8 I can get you the whole VIN.
    A truck this old may have it in a different location, not too sure.

    Right Ft. top top of frame rail should have num stamped in large num. will ck on one thats torn apart at shop later to be sure?
