I live in southern Wi. south of Madison.
I am thinking of attending the 160 Driving Academy in Freeport IL @ Highland Community College. Anyone have any comments on 160 Driving Academy in general a school, or the specific location? Or other possible options?
Thanks

I know they go through instructors here like underwear. They’re always advertising, basically begging for people interested in doing it. They are actually literally right down the street from me. The office is about 1/2 mile to the east and where they do the driving/training is a mile to the west. I drive by where they train every day, looks like a work release program, the clientele. The instructors look no better. Class probably goes through 2 cartons of cigarettes a day
Heard the micromanagement and low pay is the problem keeping instructors.TXCOMT Thanks this. -
160 has an excellent reputation. There's also one in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Does the program offer free tuition or you have to pay?

OP, if you want something closer to home there is that school in Sun Prairie. I don’t know much about it but it’s right there on 151, and they even offer part time classes. I am originally from Janesville so kinda from your neck of the woods. -

Sun Prairie was the worst school back in the day.. I have no idea if they have ever done anything to help that... but I personally would really do some research on them before stepping one wet foot in their door.
desperado75 and Kyle G. Thank this.
