I found a 12V skillet on GlobalTrucker.com. I'm wanting reviews. I want one that will last and won't go up in smoke after the first meal. Any you recommend?
12V Skillet worth buying?

Splatter platters are messy.

I used to use a George Foreman in the truck. I know, not the same thing. Why I bring it up is the cooking smells in the truck linger. Not to mention stuff like that doesn't last too long when bought at a Pilot. Its not meant to.

buy a inverter and you can use all sorts of kitchen appliances!

I have one and have used it only a couple times... It takes longer than a regular skillet, and isn't the easiest to clean... Instead I've been using the Lunch Box Oven... It takes the aluminum foil pans (for easy clean up) and the heating element is on the bottom, so I have browned sausage then scrambled eggs in it... Plus using it to heat and cook bunches of other things... Best $30 we've spent!!
