Get a wireless air printer and you can from your phone. With a small inverter it works fine.
I have a HP Envy that I use and have no complaints.
Probably want to make sure it will have a smooth ride tho, bouncing off a shelf onto the floor won't be good for it.

Honestly you ate better od to get a cheap inverter and 110v scanner/printer. They don't use much juice so even a small inverter will suffice. And they are readily available rather cheap for a version to work through Bluetooth with a phone.

Yeah, I second... err, third... fourth? Anyhow, don't bother with a 12v or "portable" printer. They're expensive and don't perform as well as regular ones (I've used both). As recommended, just get a small inverter (one that plugs into a 12v socket) and then get the printer of your choice... there are plenty of choices with WiFi and Bluetooth.

I use an HP office jet 250. Its a compact and wireless printer. I can use my laptop or iphone with it. I have had great luck with it.

If you do buy a good printer and inverter, try to get a pure sine wave inverter. Electronics like printers and game consoles, some dvd players and other sensitive electronics work better with pure sine wave v.s. modified sine wave.

Modified are cheaper, but sometimes dont runs certain electronics.

I'm on year 4 with the cheapest Walmart household printer I could find. I'm not smart enough to get the wireless to work with my phone/laptop. That would save an entire glove box full of tangled and knotted up cords.
Mine rides around under the bunk in a 48" flat top so things are always piled on top and so far it still works. Every so often it needs the junk blown out of it with the boot hose.

Almost forgot. Whatever you do get, make sure to get a ton of extra ink cartridges. Nothing is worse than hunting for ink in the middle of Montana all the while trying to close the deal for the only hot $$$ load in 500 miles.

right now I have an Epson 420 I think, it takes up a lot of room in a daycab and the ink doesn't last long I don't know if its the temperature swings or what it also has connectivity issues sometimes. Here's the one I'm getting, i think it'll be better at least I hope.

I had looked at that before and I believe it would be a good setup. I asked to look at a troopers once and I believe that's what he was using. Ink runs out at worst possible places and odd times
