One pushrod on my slack adjusters are longer than the other 3 on axle 2 and 3. All the brakes are adjusted. Brand new truck 90k miles. When parking brakes are applied it all looks the same, does the pushrod that’s sticking out need to be cut to length?
1 Pushrod on slack adjusters longer than the rest

If they are all correctly adjusted and look the same with the brakes applied I'd lean towards the one with the longer pushrod not fully releasing.
HP510 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
My bad I meant when parking brakes are released it all looks the same but when it’s applied one is longer than the rest.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Sounds like the longer one isn't properly adjusted.

How often should slack adjusters need adjusting? One went out of place a day after I adjusted it but the other 3 seems to be okay. Is that normal? I greased all my slack adjusters
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Auto slack adjusters should never require adjustment if they are set up correctly and maintained. Besides whenever they've been backed off to do brake repairs of course.
If its not keeping adjustment it is more than likely time to replace it.Rideandrepair, HP510 and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
Should still regularly check that they are staying in adjustment though.
