09 Cascadia dd15 no egr no dpf loses power

If you have metal shavings in your fuel system then your high pressure fuel pump is on it's way out which explains why you have SPN 1077 FMI 7. Take a magnet to the metal and see if it sticks. The shavings can damage your fuel system again including the injectors. When we did warranty repair on the high pressure fuel pumps we would drain the fuel tanks and send the tanks out to have them professionally cleaned and refill the tanks with fresh diesel.

Fault code can be caused by this:
-External fuel leakage between the high pressure pump and injectors
-High pressure pump (pumping element failures) <------------- POSSIBLY your situation.
-Injector (amplifier or needle) leakage
-Pressure limiting valve leakage (internal)
-Fuel filter integrity (loose caps, plugged filters)
-Fuel supply issues (low fuel level, fuel aeration)
-Intermittent loss of engine speed signal
