This truck has had the sleeper removed and I am wanting to have work lights on the rear of the body (vac tank). Where would I find a possible location of the previous wire loom, if any, that went to the load light. Oh, and is the load light the lights in the rear of the sleeper?
The panel has a switch for spot light also. This truck has a spot light drivers side above and forward on cab. Is that where the switch circuit is running to? The bulb is broken and I haven’t pulled out the multi meter to check what’s what yet.

Spot light will be the light above the drivers door. They commonly corrode inside.
Load light can mean the lights mounted to the side of the sleeper or on the back of the bunk.
Some of the sleeper harnesses were routed through the gasket between the bunk/cab. Last eight of the s/n?

Spot light is circuit# 132 and load light according to the diagram I have is circuit# 249 for left hand load/ad light and 254 for right hand load/ad light. My 97 379 has one switch for the load lights. They are recessed in the back of the sleeper.

This is from my Peterbilt book. The roof harness connects to the main cab harness behind the glove box. It extends up the right A-pillar to the header, where it splits into two branches: one in the header and the other over the right door frame.

You should find the load light wire in the branch over the right door frame. The circuit numbers are stamped into metal tags each end of the wire. They are also printed on the wire insulation jacket throughout.

Do you have recessed load lights in the replacement panel where the sleeper opening used to be?

EDIT- There are also 5 spare prewired circuits on the fuse panel numbered 1 through5. Some are switched some are unswitched. They feed into the main harness and breakout just to the right of the steering column support. At that point they are grouped and marked with numbered metal tags.

    WyoVac Thanks this.

So nice Peterbilt labels all the loom wires with the aluminum tags. No lights were installed on the back of cab.
