Anybody currently work for them? Want to know if it's good over there. Online reviews aren't that great, but trying to not listen to the whiners. I've only talked to one driver that works there, but would like more info.
Was told that I would start at .45cpm loaded .40cpm empty which seems kind of low considering the job.
Any personal experience/ info would be great.

Just talked to a O/o QC driver today out of the Conley, Ga terminal. Before i even asked about possibly coming there because of all they had to offer on there ad on Craigslist he immediately said "dont come here" he said it was bad. Everything from sitting. Low pay low miles. Bad management. Cant get ahold of anybody. He just kept telling me not to come and that he was about to turn in his truck. He didnt seem like a whiner either. He had a positive attitude...just said it was bad here.

The driver I talked to left QC then went back and is probably going to do their new lease purchase program.
Are you getting into tanking as well? -
I was going to lease on with my truck thats owned outright. But then I was told "You will be in the HOLE "at first by the terminal manager. so no go if your serious about yourself and money.

QC is mostly affiliate owned, So each is run different some are great some suck.
I worked for terminal 767 for a year and thats where I got tanker training. 767 is now corporate owned and I think its 181 now. I was treated well and made good money, I was paid 27% and $18 an hr for everything besides driving. No big complaints, theres a few terminals that are union
Bristol Wi. Is one.
I left because they put me on an account i wanted no part of and other drivers wont do either,
Twice I gave them a 2 week notice before leaving.
They no longer have that account, I think Scheinder has it now.
Id recommend them for anybody starting in tankers.Bud A. and Eggroll'n Trucker Thank this. -
But either way, if anyone is considering QC, they need to talk to some driver at the terminal they plan on going to. As the work is usually terminal specific and many terminals have 1 or 2 bread and butter customers whose loads keep the drivers busy. Or not.Bud A., Eggroll'n Trucker and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -
