As the title says I am looking for companies that will hire a fresh CDL A driver that will be getting his Class A next month with all endorsements. I can't seem to find many company names online that are hiring local drivers. Mostly I see OTR driving. Schneider seems to be a local option but curious if there are others. I'm trying to be home every night due to my family otherwise I'd be open to 3 - 5 days OTR but no 1+ weeks as that will stress me and my family more. I'd prefer to be home every night but if it came down to a company that sends their drivers Over the Road for a few days then I guess I'll have to.

Also, if anybody knows of any companies hiring class B drivers in the meantime while I pursue my Class A let me know. My DMV appointment is next month for my skills test - so excited!!!

    EphTrucker Thanks this.

Apex Bulk (Adelanto), Valley Bulk(Victorville), maybe Arnett Truck (Ontario), If they dont have a yard near you normally they let you take the truck home as long as theres somewhere to park it.

Anymore suggestions? I finally have my CDL-A so looking for local suggestions and good places to look online. I've looked here, indeed, craigslist, and monster. Mostly everything I see is Need 1 - 3 years experience. I'm taking a look at what ChinaTown suggested but open to more ideas. Thanks for all your help! I wouldn't mind flat bed, car hauler, or tanker positions but to break into that field with no experience I haven't really seen that many.
