I've rarely heard a bad anything about Lone Mtn.For an outfit that sells both Brand New n Used trucks, offers a warranty,LETS you take truck for inspection-dyno,checks out the potential buyer n has them put down a substantial deposit, will let you make a ca$h offer-----------i give em a thumbs up.
Top of the line Buy-Here-Pay-Here-------pretty much compared to the rest of em.
Debal-please advise me n share your "what happened" story-beginning to end-both of you,--what they did n what you did, what they didnt do n what you didnt do.Thanks man.

Scam? More likely the OP had terrible credit and couldn't get approved like the salesman he lied to promised him he would.
Jarhed1964 and buddyd157 Thank this. -

Sorry guys I was busy dealing with this crap of lone mountain, but let me tell you even though I do have some knowledge about mechanic but the sales person managed to deceived me.
Before I signed any paper while I am going to do DOT inspection the check engine pop up and also I felt strong vibrations in front and steering wheel.
I went back to the yard they reset the check engine and he told me the truck need alignment and they don't do alignment in their shop so you can do it anytime and is covered in the warranty. Now I found out the frame is badly damaged and the check engine code is EGR code. I called lone mountain they refused to take any responsibilityLast edited: Jul 6, 2017

If you have mechanical knowledge how did you end up buying a truck with a bent frame or how do you trust them so much either way it comes down to you not making the right decisions before purchasing the truck like seeing what the warranty does offer to cover, their job is to lease a truck as long as you sign and take the truck they did their job( it is your job to make sure that truck is dot and safe to operate on the road and it serves the purpose you are buying it for) it sounds like you didn't do your job this is just a lesson for next time. you live and learn but learning never comes free in this life there is always a price

I work at Lone Mountain, so you can take my response with a grain of salt, but Debal forgot to mention that he brought the truck back to our shop a week after purchasing it because of a "vibration." Once at our shop he couldn't replicate any problem with the truck, so we checked everything out including draining the fluids from the trans and rears to check for metal shavings. Nothing was found.
He then left with the truck, but called a couple days later and was still not happy, so we offered him a full refund, to which he responded "I'm calling my lawyer" and hung up the phone. He then had his wife call to complain....neither of them knew what is wrong, or what they wanted to be fixed.
If they believe the truck is "junk" they are welcome to bring it back and get a full refund. Pretty simple.Jarhed1964, drivinhome, nredfor88 and 23 others Thank this. -
