hi people. I cannot figure out the problem
Peterbuilt engine: PACCAR
was driving normally withought faults, suddenly red check engine light came on and it stopped engine on highway. I pulled over, dash screen says no warnings, no faults. It cranks but wont start.
I opened hood, belt is fine, antifreezee level good. Gas is enough in the tank. Cannot figure out what happened
2013 peterbilt stopped on highway, wont start

Did you check oil level? If it's not that being low then probably a sensor
-
Actually diesel level is low my gauge is broken and does not show level well, but when i opened fuel tank the fuel is covering bottoms of pipes there bu at leas 2 inch. It might be a problem? And it happened on little upgrade level thats why i am still thinking it might be low fuel.

Oil level is fine, if oil level is low there would be fault code or warning
-
Well there you go if it's set up like the freightliner the truck will shut off at 1/4 tank climbing hills. If you haven't been saved yet make sure they bring a can of starter fluid.

I spoke with company they called tow truck,
I know how stupid it is to run out fuel on highway even when gage is broken and it always stands at full tank level. But i filled tank 400 miles ago and i was about to pull in TA truck stop for refuiling. My company insists it is not a fuel though
I see there is more fuel in smaller tank is there any chance i can pump from small to bigger? -
You know you have 10% of your fuel that's unusable? Can't get it out of the tank without sucking air. 2 inches is probably the reason it quit. Pull yer fuel filter off and see if there's any fuel in it.
