Any seniorish company drivers...what did you get for your vacation pay your second year? Significantly more than the 1st?

Was on my way there one time, helped out a trainee team that was running behind. Was never so happy to give a load up lol. Felt it was better to just let them discover it for themselves. WAS courteous enough to tell them not to go into the first entrance however..

There is no set amount for vacation pay. They take the average weekly pay for the quarter before your vacation. That is what you will get. At three years service you would get two weeks.

No, I'm positive it's Huxtables. Our doors are tucked into a tiny alcove formed by two warehouses. It's do-able (with a bit of sweat and swearing) as long as you're the only truck docked, and as long as there are no straight trucks backed into the other warehouse.
I absolutely friggin hate that place. It takes longer to back in most times than to load. I'm almost always only picking less than half a pallet.

Sigh....making payments on a meat lock and load locks that I paid off a loong time ago..asked the shop about it, the deductions were suspended for a few months, didn't get credited and they just started up again. So I've been jipped out of like 70 bucks so far. I think when I hit my 2 year mark I'm getting the hell out of here. Met a driver who's been here 7 years and making 34 cpm. Absolutely beyond me

Stevens is strictly a training company, therefore the pay is lower than non-training companies. I stayed a year, moved to a local LTL company and started at .35 cpm. Then got a 2 cent raise after my first year. Plus a 4 cent monthly fuel bonus. Better opportunities are out there.
