Well I'm home, got here last night around 8pm. I loaded Sunday in Springfield VA with a 5 dropper into Deerfield beach Fl. I was loaded and rolling by 11am Sunday. I did my first drop about 8pm in Gastonia NC, my 2nd and 3rd drops in Atlanta at midnight and 1am then was hurrying around trying to find a place to sleep before my clock ran out. I finally made it to the rest area on 75 at the split before Macon with only 7 minutes left on the clock.
I sent my wife a text message telling her not to call me until 11am. Gary had nothing but issues with his load coming back from California and drove through the night for 3 straight nights so I knew he wouldn't call me. So who calls? Louie at 9am asking me when I would be ready to leave out. Not exactly the voice I wanted to hear that time of the day. I told him I would be ready to leave on Friday and that my truck is due for an inspection which means I need to be in Pittston for 2 days. He told me they would load me Friday for a Monday delivery in Pa.
I'm now just getting ready to leave and do my last drop 22 miles away in Deerfield Beach then I'll be back home until Friday morning. Thats all folks! -
