That’s kind of what I’ve thought of too but idk. I already work about 55 hrs a week. I know I never want to deal with an employee.

I planned on doing everything myself or have my father help me. I work the hours to where I get off at 5 or 6am and in a few hours I'll be ready to handle business. It's either that or buy a second investment property

I see lots of small companies in my area doing it with smaller duallies. Keeping it under 26k to expand their driver options. Could be a niche there for small highly maneuverable/positionable cans.

Agreed for dumps except the jumping in/out of the can numerous times for a DNR part. The difference with dump trucks is the tarping systems are typically better and I'm in control of how much goes in when loading so nothing is ever over the top. Will sometimes have to trim the load a little but it's not a big deal compared to climbing on top of all kinds of dangerous materials.

Investment property will be better in the long run. Passively income is preferable when working a FT job IMO.

That's why I'm on the fence... If I start either... I'll be frozen at least 3 years for sure. I know property is a get rich slow type of deal.

I'm a fan. Same goes for precious metals. Value always goes up over time. Just set it and forget it!

I think the best thing to do with roll offs would be to try to service some of the big lumber and hardware stores and factories that just have a roll off year round on site. That would require the bigger 30-40 yard roll offs which is great since I have a CDL anyway. Let the little guys with their pickups fight over the little home owner jobs.

That's why I wanted to start with a hooklift that can pull 30s and 40s. Roll off trucks are cheaper but more dangerous to me. Idk man
