I don't remember seeing any signs. I was stuck there on a Friday with no hours and no freight until Monday. I do remember the weather was nice, no AC/heat/ idling needed. Spent the night there Friday and the plan slowly unfolded. There's certain mental health stuff that goes on when I'm in a situation like that and it does no good for the angriest man in America to get even more upset. I learned over the years to just deal with it, don't complain, make sure the truck is safe and I can check on it often and then enjoy life.

I saw a tractor and trailer parked at the Quality Inn on Route 46 in Ledgewood yesterday. Google satellite view confirms they have about a half dozen truck parking spots.

This is the Alexander Hamilton service plaza, only accessible from the southbound direction. Not to be confused with the nearby Vince Lombardi service area, which is a complete shlt show. I used to relay with another driver at Alexander Hamilton and, unlike the Vince Lombardi, it was relatively easy to find a spot there.

Most of my 34 hour breaks involve a 24 hour period of sightseeing and photography....and seeing how many miles I can put on a rental car, followed by a 10 hour nap. I tried to upload one of my favorite recent pics, but I need to compressor the file.... it's too large.

I had to crop this one, and then screenshot the result. Screenshots are a MUCH lower resolution than what the camera stores.

We have some near where I live. I see them all the time when I'm out doordashing. That's where I'm at right now until I start schooling in May.

Most hotels may accomidate a few big rigs depending on lot size etc. Just don't show up when there's already 3 trucks there and be sure you can get out of the lot next morning and are not boxed in !

No, it was taken from Locust Point, right next to Under Armor HQ, across from downtown Baltimore. I have a couple more that turned out decent from the old Navy Yard, in Philly. I tried to get some of the Battleship New Jersey in Camden from Philly and from Camden. They wanted 30 bucks to pull into the lot in Philly across from the New Jersey, and the roads around that part of Camden were mostly closed off that night.
