    Don't think you'll get a response...he was last logged on Sept 2018.
FWIW, I think just about every company has at least a forward facing camera, so as long as he's doing his job, he "should" be okay.

Lord willing, you will both work as company drivers for a few years before you jump into buying your own truck.

I guess I'm around about two million safe miles. I never think about it all that much. Every day is my first day out there.

People will flat out lie about what has happened, Buy a drive camera of your own, it will protect you,God forbid if a accident does happens do not talk to the other parties, anything you may say can be used against you. Take lots of pictures, avoid blood when filming. Take pictures of their Drivers License(s), Registration, and try to get witness names. Do not admit guilt. Also if call your insurance company ahead to see what they want you to get. Keep statements to the police short and to the point. What people do not realize it that right after the accident you may not have a accurate accounting of what happened, your mind maybe still putting ot together. Ask the officer if you can get with them after consulting your attourney. You have to protect yourself, the police are not there to protect you, best to consult with an attourney before hand, and ask them the best way to proceed it a most trying of situations. If they offer to go to the hospital to get checked out, most of the time it is a good idea.

Never kept a log of my miles, it was something the military wasn't concerned with. But I drove my 1st class 8 truck in April of '94 and I'm currently running super 16 dumps, 5yrs after I retired from the military. I think I'm safely inside the zone. I'm not gonna elaborate on tickets or accidents. Suffice it to say, I have had plenty of screw ups to learn from.

Dont even talk to the cops!!!

When I worked at R&L (20 or so years ago) they gave us a card to give the cops. I still have it. If I ever do get into a wreck I WILL use it.

    I'm not, at all, mostly.
I just don't like to see people rushing into something that they may not fully understand. That happens a lot in this business.

It's the 'Lord willing' part, I think, that I may be a bit snarky about..
Because, the thing is, the Lord is willing to let us do anything we really want to do. God gave us free will, after all.
That is a rule that is immutable, even for God. God made it so, and God follows God's rule. All three of Them, without exception.

It is a catch-22 type of situation for both us and God.
(I guess I could write a book or three between that line and the next...)

In the end, it is we who have to decide what we do now, and next.
Free will is a fickle 'something' that we all have to deal with.
