One thing not mentioned here. FB drivers helping other FB drivers to tarp and throw straps. That was the norm back in the days, as they say. IDK, maybe things are different now.

A petite female walked in and became interested in what big dude was saying. He apparently was one of those guys who lost his spine around women because he started to stutter and stammer. She smiled and said, “I flatbed.”
“You????? Oh, well, I was always interested in learning yadda yadda 180 degrees about face, take back everything I said before….etc”
Embarrassing. Stand your ground, hand. Don’t choke. If a small female can do the job, how hard can it be? -
