Why does Rand Mcnally gps still lead to low bridges when it's supposed to be the info from their atlas?
Why aren’t all the low clearances in Rand McNally Atlas programed into Hammer?

STAA truck routes dont get changed often enough either. IL has their own map, which cost me 75 bucks for being on US 52 between I55 and I80.Rand finally got around to correcting that in the paper atlas years later, although a previous atlas did get it right for 1 year, and then it got changed back to being in error. The deputy gave me a copy of the map and advised me it wouldnt do any good to take it to court and show my copy of the Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas. There were no signs in evidence, either. But the official map the state uses showed it to not be a STAA route. IL puts up signs for Class 2 and Class 3 truck routes on some county hwys.
MACK E-6, gentleroger and lual Thank this. -

The really sad thing is Rand McNally headquarters is in Schaumburg, IL. Gives me little confidence in that atlas or their devices.
