I've never heard challenges to fight but have heard some abusive language on cb. Mostly over who should or should not be in the passing lane. These governed trucks are a problem in that respect but that's a whole nother problem that we're not going to solve here. I seldom say too much on my radio but keep my attention on the road. I do monitor it though because it can give me another set of eyes and ears on my truck and the road. The most annoying thing on cb is the long winded jeremiads on various topics including drivers reading or reciting religious tracts or people selling things...

When i first started driving trucks in 1995 most truck drivers still had respect and
courtesy for each other. If you where broke down on the side of the road quite a
few would stop to see if you were ok and needed help. They didnt tailgate and cut
each other off and drive along insulting each other on the CB Radio. Its sad to see
a lot of the losers that drive trucks for a living now.The preception a lot of people
have of truck drivers is that they are arrogant, aggressive and uneducated slobs.
This type of incident just reinforces what the media and average person on the
street thinks the average truck driver is like. -

In what "respect" is a truck to be blamed for anything?
The most annoying thing is an adult that is clueless to "accountability"
