The story of a murdered trucking company owner, his mistress, and his wife seemed like something out of a bad soap opera, but it was all too real for Bill Hall Jr. and his company. Now, his two children are locked in a legal dispute over assets from the now-bankrupt carrier.
Bill Hall Jr. Trucking had around 130 trucks when Frances Hall found out about her husband’s affair with another woman. After having been married for 31 years, Frances allegedly flew into a jealous rage when her husband’s mistress texted her a series of pictures including photos of her husband having sex with the other woman.
During that rage, Frances used her SUV to run her husband off the road while he was riding a motorcycle. She was convicted of murder and sentenced to two years in prison.
After the scandal, which attracted national attention, the trucking company faced hard times and eventually went bankrupt. The company encountered problems with its Chapter 11 filings and was even sued by Texas to return grant money which was used to buy fuel-efficient trucks.
Eventually though, Frances was in jail, the company was closed, and everything settled down. Now however, it seems things have taken a twist.
Justin and Dominique, Bill and Frances’ children are fighting in court over the company’s remaining assets. At its height, Bill’s estate was worth some $15.5 million, but that was before the company went under.
Justin has filed a suit claiming that his sister has illegally used Bill Hall Jr. Trucking’s assets including trucks, trailers and equipment for her own trucking business. Dominique owns Nicqueco Hauling and DejaBlue, and according to Justin, assets have improperly found their way to both her companies and her boyfriend’s business.
At a court hearing on Tuesday, a judge put at least a temporary hold on the sibling rivalry, getting them both to agree that neither would transfer any assets without his approval.
Whether the tentative truce will hold is yet to be seen, but whatever is left after the bankruptcy and Dominique’s alleged pilfering is safe in a judge’s care for now.

Damn glad I didn’t go to work for this company when I was offered the chance.
Aw, Daniel…look at it this way: if you would have worked there, you wouldn’t have to tape your favourite soap operas…you would have lived them!
Anyone else noticed she only got 2 yrs for murder???
Yep. Wtf? If I knew I’d get just two years, I’d kill my exwife right now! Lol
I said the same thing. 2 years for murder???? Texas grant money for more fuel efficient trucks??? I thought Texas was a bit more conservative than that.
Murder isn’t that big a deal in Texas. My exwifes dad only got life probation for killing his son , my exwifes brother.
I want to know which one is Bill Hall Jr. They’re are two of them as I recall. One was small in stature and the other was very large and had a very pretty wife.
