DO NOT COME HERE! I cannot stress this enough. do not come here. They will lie to you about pay, they promised $900 guaranteed, first week I made $600plus, trainer called management (without my approval) and told her that I was not to be trained any longer, so I no longer got training pay) you may bring home $600. Home time is also a joke, they do not want you going home. Management is also a joke, they talk a big game. They’re all full of hot air. On day 1, they want you to sign a 1 year contract if you do not stay you have to pay 4,900 and if you ask questions about the contract you are asked to leave. The very first person I ever talked to The trainer didn’t know how to even answer questions about the contracts, all he said was I’ll have someone come in and explain it and no one ever came in. The training is a joke there is only two so called trainers on the pad and they don’t do anything. I came into Wilson with my CDL already and all I did was sit in the classroom and didn’t do anything but listen to them talk about what a wonderful company it is and how family oriented they are LIES! no training pay you can BORROW 200$ while you are in training but you have to pay it back once you get on the truck. If you make it to a trainer be ready for the worst 2 months of your life. One trainer only showered 2 times in two months the truck was nasty. I could go on.

I am appalled about the night managers. I experienced an ice storm and was pushed by them to keep driving since I was only 40 miles away from the receiver. He looked through my camera and told me that the roads looked fine. Meanwhile, accidents were happening on the other side of the freeway. I don't think this person needs to be in charge because of putting my safety in jeopardy.
Another thing, I have been driving for 6 years and came over from another company. I was misinformed by the recruiters on the pay and was told that Wilson didn't go to California and New York. I am truly disappointed on the info to get me to join.
Pros
Good equipment
Good day staff
Cons
Low pay for solo drivers
Bad night staff

Been here a while, seen the ups and the downs and read most all the comments/reviews. I can say honestly that there were people in charge that had no business being in charge for a while, but now they are all gone and the company is cleaning house. They knew there was a problem, and it needed to be fixed, and they have done well at fixing what had taken place for too long in my opinion. I can say as someone who ran for Prime Inc. and was extremely successful that Wilson is just in there growing phase and that comes with growing pains. I got off the road to run local and I ran Kraft for a while so trust me, I know bad, but this company is setting a new course and it's looking bright, I enjoy working here and will continue to work here as long as we stay this new course. When you read any review remember most things are what you make them. I don't excuse poor chooses or actions on anyone but most things after some reflection can be seen differently.
Pros
Great place.
Good equipment.
Knows when to make a change.
Cons
Some but working to be better every day.

Management needs training. They can’t seem to keep employees or contracts. Seems like they don’t have long left unless Prime bails them out again. I urge you not to work here.
Cons
Equipment is not properly maintained, consistently understaffed.
