Am an owner not LP, first off.... they tell you coming in how great everything is, typical recruiting. I had to bobtail out 1700 miles from west coast to get to orientation and have there bullshit outside shop nit pick every detail of my truck thats not very old, passing inspections but saying I gotta pay them 1400 in repairs, I did there little repair crap myself. At that point I should have seen the signs and went somewhere else, get going and im westcoast they saybill stay running but constantly can't get freight. Then they pull there stupid bulshit and watch your camera and continually call you and make you drive out to tennessee for a safety meeting with people who are 20yrs old and don't know #### about driving. Every month they did this ####, I told them im in my truck not thru your insurance and not an LP so quit the bullshit games. So 6 mo and they terminated my contract for guess what camera events, it was am excuse because I complained about freight in the area they said they had it. Too much deadhead, worked out to the same as loaded almost every week or trying to get you to take 1.30 a mile freight and that ain't happening. So find something else this ain't the place. A company that has 600 drivers and 6 to 12 a week in an orientation class do the math, thats a basic turnover of the fleet every year.........good luck if you try it but the micro management is completely insane when your an owner operator

I worked for tsh for 6 yrs and I paid my truck off through my bank but these people are crooked.when you leave this company they will send you a bill they have manufactured up,I've seen the bills from 800 to 23k on lp equipment. It used to be a decent company but they promoted a dispatcher to the top of the food chain and his goal is to take care of his buddies that are still dispatchers.if you break down after hours there is a 75 $ charge for calling the after hours line,if you have a deduction they have to take out of your settlement they charge you $5 per deduction for doing their job..they only pay you the national avg fsc regardless what the shipper pays.if national avg is .40 and shipper pays .60 they keep the difference..I've personally seen 2 loads where they skimmed over 1k off the load.you pay for insurance on equipment but if it has to pay off tsh claims 100% of the claim and you have to start over in another lp from beginning. .if you buy equipment on day 1 and quit a week later and return all the equipment they will not give you credit for it instead they let a 3rd party shop take the equipment and sell it but will bill you for nearly 10k in equipment

Pros

As a lp they will help you work on their truck

Cons

Poor management, charge you for everything, skim off loads, steal fsc

In 2021 when I started, it was booming over here. It was a great place to be fast forward to now not so much.

Pros

You can pick your own Loads and running lines

Cons

Too much heavy, cheap freight! Too many trucks not enough loads! Too many loads going to dead zones where you cannot get out of!

Been doing some info digging into TSH over the past few months. Spoken with several of their long time owner op's and a few of the lease purchase guys. They all seem happy, one owner op I spoke with has been with them for 3 years and says he wished he would have come over sooner. He showed his end of year settlement showing he grossed over $234k. Showed a recent settlement where he had already grossed over $100k so far. Past 4 weeks hes been running loads of F150 frames from Elizabethtown Ky to Detroit daily and truck revenue has been at just under $1400 per run. And says he gets home weekly living in tennessee.

The information I have gotten from the company about the lease purchase has been solid. The guy in the office seemed to talk it down some, but the lease purchase guys ive spoke with didnt have anything bad to say. Once of them was very forthcoming with good information. Basically it boils down to if you fail with TSH, its because you screwed up. Seems they give you all the tools and loads at your disposal, but if you cant make money then no one to blame but yourself.

My buddy and I are thinking of giving it a go. They require 1 year otr, with 6 months recent flatbed
