My paychecks weekly 1000.00 90% 1450.00. 10 %. They do not bother you as you do your job. If you go there, try to get the Penske trucks. Recommendation, The drivers who just need to get away from the home and the wife, this would be for you. I could say nothing bad about them. I’ve always been a 1099 so I did go back to that. I will not put me leaving on them.

Pros

They will get you home every weekend. If you need more time off, just request it.

Last paycheck deducted hiring cost 175.00 Cleaning fee 125.00 no, I did not get a new mattress when I got hired on

Biggest issue for myself is dispatch and the planner. Terrible attitude especially when you make any mistakes as a new guy here. Weekend guy is cool. If you're late for your first load delivery the company will not pay out any detention or layover pay for the rest of that week on separate load assignments that had nothing to do with your first load of the week. Trucks are dated and in fair shape, chances are you'll end up in a older beat up Volvo or a Penski rental that they're leasing.

Pros

Getting back to the east Tennessee area every weekend.

Cons

Leadership and dispatch. Drivers are not taken seriously over an issue with anyone in the office. Good Ole boys club

Start at 60 cint a mile & 5000 sign on bonus. Decent benefits but insurance little bit pricey for family coverage. Dispatchers aint friendly. Act like its a burden for them to speak to you at the diapatch window. Front office ladys is real nice. Safety lady and shop manager has been helpful and answered any questions I got.

You get exactly what you put into your job at SFS home time 34 hrs equipment Penske maintenance enough said freight more than adequate Safty at highest standard pay .60 per mile honesty/trust 100% insurance competitive to others benefits better than most. I’m happy and satisfied here as an employee/driver

Started out goid. Pretty decent miles. Fleet manager or safety manager does not care about safety, fleet manager telling drivers to keep pushing into icy roads in kentucky saying get ur load closer to ur drop, bought there items with there name on it to advertise for company which safety manager kept never received. May be family oriented for some of the drivers not all. Fleet manager is known to lie on drivers equipment is ok did Break down twice in a two week period.
