The safety training is pointless when the field experience is no comparison. You sit around for hours making $12hr due to dumb planners & customers and maybe drive 300 miles per day. They always have you deliver to a city during rush hour to a customer with a mud-hole lot.

Pros

I get home every weekend.

Cons

Blame drivers for all the stupid customer behaviors. Not a living income even if out for 2+ weeks. Managers only good for lip service.

Great place to Work. They respect you and they help you a lot with training. It’s a really safe place to Work, but beware or keep an eye on the money because I, we offer a $6000 signing bonus during 12 months and they change it with no advice to $2000. Then what I was working after two years, I was getting paid by hour and again they change my pay rate after two years with no advice, no notice. No nothing. And I Was Losing about a Thousand every week. That’s only bad thing about them.

Pros

Safe place to work A lot of training Great shop for maintenance Operation centers are good

Cons

Not enough communication with dispatch Money issues

Training is great! Home Time is good when they get you a load home. Alot of bad drivers and some of the tanks are over 25 years old. You have to know your stuff and not trust the college age kids on phone support. Pay can be good on some accounts. I had a few over $1500 but OTR is more 1400, 700, 900, 1100, 1000, 600. you can make around 1000 a week unless you are on a great account.

Pros

Great Training, Good pay to start out, The people at Schneider for the most part are very good.

Cons

Alot of Tank Trailers just suck and will cost you loads and that makes for a small check that week. OTR is really all over the place and they will keep you in the northeast if you let them.
