Worked in Bristol CT for Navarro. The company is so bad they don't even tell people their real name so you can't look up their reviews. It's sickening. The company will rob you of time, effort and money. You drive 500 miles and spend all that time away for $119. Something is wrong with that. Talk to the owner and he acts as if he gave you life.

Pros

This company loves to take a hundred percent of all you are and gives you nothing in return.

Cons

Owner, management, dispatch, loads, pay, HR

Garbage company. Garbage owners. Garbage pay. This company structure is what is wrong with America. They use uneducated and people that don’t have many other options for cheap labor and abuse them to the maximum and leave them with just enough money to eat while the executives stuff their bank accounts with cash. They lie to their employees about the load prices to keep more money for themselves. Should be investigated and brought to trial.

Pros

The lies they told me to start working there were good.

Cons

Pay, management, owners; pay, lies, drama, control.

This company will send you 466 miles for $119. They will make you leave your house on Sunday instead of Monday morning just so you can do extra dumb stuff. Then they will turn around and think they doing you favor. This company does not pay empty miles then have the nerves to send you miles away to your next load. Worst company I ever work for

Pros

No pros at all

Cons

All bad

PGT or Ats

I worked for Pgt last year. They were hauling a lot of pipe out to Texas. They also do a lot of dry wall. They pay percentage based on experience.. I was home every weekend for the most part..

On a side note when I got sick with a cancer scare.. I made one phone call to my fm and he immediately routed me back to Monaca. 20 minutes later someone from he was calling me for my information because they were booking me a flight home! How many company's fly you these days? Most throw you on the bus.

Melton vs PGT Please Help

PGT is pretty regional and you'd be home most if not all weekends. Probably run the same loads out of the same mills to the same customers most of the time.
