Worst equipment, short hauls, dangerois freight, nobody is happy and everybody seemed scared and miserable. Short cab flat bed trucks with many miles and old gliders. No storage. They pay zip code to zip code short miles but route you as they please. A contract that says they can reduce your pay to whatever the want and another contract that says they can remove money from your bank account. Difficult and cumbersome paperwork process. The owner is 86 and they do things the way he did before there was electricity and the internet. A new safety director that is hostile and abusive. They treat you like a dog. His job is to limit liability not create it with his hot temper thus creating a hostile work environment lawsuit. Only 2200 to 2500 miles per week, many routes on 2 lane roads hauling metal coils and cans. You get to place and remove all 20 straps and dunnage for only $25 Heated trailers hauling heavy mud loads so you get to deal with that for free. Many heavy loads. Difficult customers, poor maintenance, mgmt behind locked doors, long orentation, and everything else stated by others. Bill appears to be the only person in the company with soft skills. Nice person but will not tell you the negatives up front. My joke for them is: What do you call a safety director that claims he was a driver but refused to go west of Denver or east of Ohio? A delivery boy! No prepass which cost $16.75 per month. No moving map nav which costs $15.00 a month. You get to write it all down and hope you don't miss your exit. They are cheap and give the driver nothing but attitude. The delivery boy safety director wants you to use a Rand McNally atlas to get around. He said don't trust your Rand McNally trucker GPS which is THE RAND MCNALLY ATLAS! He almost speaks one language correctly. Driver facing dash can and a radar that will hit the brakes on an icy road. Yikes! In short, there is a culture of animosity toward drivers and amongst employees. The receptionist has the personality traits of a reptile and is the office gossip queen.. I got hired but left at the end of orentation and had to get myself back home. This is the second worst company that I almost worked at. So yeah... I'm going back to my old company. where I got 4000 plus miles per week, 3 weeks out 1 week or more home and everybody is nice, happy, honest and intelligent. Where every load at least 2000 miles, new volvos at 75mph with no dash came or following radar, The best company I ever worked at where I never met the safety.

Pros

I just cound not find any

Cons

All of the negative reviews are spot on .the company is in disarray from top to bottom . equipment is the worst I’ve ever been assigned I’ve seen better farm tractors, 30 years old. If you like homosexual harassment, you’ll get plenty of that while unstrapping your coils in Fort Dodge. When it’s all done and said you do not get a bus ticket home you get put out of the truck right there in Fort Dodge and good luck to you. I don’t know how they have anybody driving for them.

Good liars

I recommend you DO NOT WORK HERE !!! The recruiter Bill is a really nice guy, but will tell you anything you want to hear to get you there. I was promised newer equipment, no touch freight, mostly drop and hook, which may have been true if it was worth staying... You have to pay for your own scales, tolls, fluids, anything you need for your truck, no prepass, and the equipment is terrible... The truck that I was assigned had exterior damage, the paint was peeling off of it (all of the things Dot are looking for to pull you in for an inspection) I spoke with several drivers and they had all been fined, the inside had broken plastic, no fridge, and the Apu was under the bunk so your cords would be severed. They try to force you to move trailers around for free when you get to a destination, their hostiler is off on the weekend so guess who they want to move trailers with no pay.... And as far as no touch, you have to strap down these coils that will eat up at least an hour to 2 hours... They also charge you for the straps, a broom, a hardhat, vest, blower... I WOULDN'T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY !!!

Pros

Not a one

Cons

All stated above... Oh except one, they take away your rental car the first day of orientation and just strand you at the hotel at night with no way to get anything to eat or drink... The hotel has frozen pizza for $10 that would cost you $2 at the store... This place is a joke... Too me less than a week to figure them out, the guy I went through orientation with has quit already too

The recruiter is s really nice guy and says all the right things to get you there, but the owners and safety director are full of crap when they tell you they value family. All they care about is getting their freight hauled regardless of the family cost to the driver. And they’ll cut you loose the second they realize your family comes first. They lie about the mileage wage too and rob you of several cents a mile after you agree to start. And dispatcher I had will send you to a customer to pick up 8 hours earlier than the appt, you’ll end up just sitting doing nothing. Don’t even get me started on the equipment either. Truck they gave me was trashed and had to have been driven til the wheels were damn near off.

Pros

None

Cons

Crappy equipment Clueless dispatchers Hometime is joke even if promised Promised pay is a lie No dental or vision ins just medical and it’s like $500 a month for family plan of ONLY medical.
